PROJECT SUMMARY

Health Horisons is an Erasmus+ funded project under the KA220 – Cooperation Partnerships framework. The project aims to empower Roma communities by improving health literacy, enhancing access to healthcare services, and promoting social inclusion through education and digital innovation.

A key focus of the project is the development of accessible, culturally adapted learning materials and a user-friendly e-learning platform tailored to the needs of Roma adults. Through a combination of research, community engagement, and capacity-building activities, Health Horisons seeks to address existing barriers in healthcare access and support Roma individuals in making informed health decisions.

The project brings together partners from North Macedonia, Greece, and Cyprus, working collaboratively to identify good practices, deliver training activities, and strengthen the connection between Roma communities, healthcare providers, and policymakers.

PARTNER’S ROLES

Roma Resource Center

A non-governmental organization supporting vulnerable and marginalized groups, with a strong focus on Roma communities. In the project, RRC acts as the coordinator, ensuring smooth implementation and direct engagement with Roma communities.

ITML

A technology company specialized in developing digital solutions and platforms. In the project, ITML is responsible for the development of the website and the e-learning platform, as well as providing technical support for digital tools.

EU Knowledge Spot

An organisation active in education, research, and European project development. In the project, it contributes to research activities, analysis of good practices, and the development of training and educational materials.

Synapseis

An organization experienced in social innovation, adult education, and community engagement. In the project, it supports field research, stakeholder collaboration, and the dissemination of results and project outcomes.
